Rousey v Holm?

Ronda by armbar in the 1st. If Holm had some lifetime wrestling and could keep it standing, I might feel differently. I'm half convinced it would look like the Randy Couture v James Toney fight. I doubt we're going to see it though, as I bet that Holm would never make it past girls like Cupcake to get a title shot in the first place.

When I imagine this matchup, I see Ronda standing with her for 20 seconds, or however long it takes her to get into a clinch. Then Holly goes flying over Ronda's hip. Ronda spins up into spiderweb, and done.

I hope I'm wrong, because that kind of striking would be really fun to watch Ronda try to deal with. But until Holm shows me some serious wrestling and the ability to stay alive when she's on her back, I'm highly skeptical.

Understandable, but we don't really know how good Holly's ground game is, for all we know she might be good enough at tkd defense and getting back up to compete with ronda

I'm really excited for this card now that I know there are 2 x 10p guys on there! I was already stoaked to see Ronda, plus Holly is probably going to put on a striking clinic.

But we might get to see some more UFC Rubber Guard! Someday someone's going to win a title fight where they smash someone's face from crackhead or similar... That'll be the day the UFC mainstream goes "WTF is THAT shit?" maybe tomorrow gets us one step closer!
