i think cain was also trying to out work werdum instead of picking his shots more carefully. this kinda reminds me how chael sonnen was hitting silva with little rabbit punches in his guard right before he got triangled. i couldn't believe cain's corner was calling for the takedown after round 2 but i guess he was getting beat standing up so maybe they thought it would be better than getting knocked out. i honestly thought cain was too beast for werdum's jitsu game before they started fighting, but when i saw how tired cain was and how fresh werdum was after round 2 i knew cain's corner gave him bad advice. this is kinda a crazy time for the UFC. We're getting new champs left and right it seems. i like it but i don't want aldo to loose to mcgreggor. thats where i draw the line
Cain fought the way Cain always fights. But as it turns out, Cain's biggest attribute was not his skills, but his conditioning. Without that advantage he looked really bad man. Werdum outlcassed him. Great performance by Werdum man.
