What is the most effective way to pull guard in no-gi? all i can think of is just jumping and wrapping your legs around them, but it sucks when the person cant hold you and you slam your head on the mat. whats a better method?

But yeah, I never even tried to get my foot in his hip and I prolly should have. Like I said, at the time I was going straight to crackhead -- whether I needed to or not -- in practice all the time. My brain was way behind where my body was in the moment. I was like: "Oh look. I just cleared his head. Hey, I'm almost to a gogo. I like where this is going; I'm gonna keep watching..."
