Currently on big dudes, when I get bench pressed off, I panic, overhook their head with my arm and then try to reel myself back towards north south. Now That I learned Eddie's side mount guillotine it ties in perfectly with that overhook grip. I'm not saying you should do this.. I'm just thinking out loud with how I tend to abandon the position when things go bad but my twister side is a mess. I just figured out how to grind dudes out with my backside in order to force them to turn into me and give up the truck.

Kiko, remember Twister Side Control is a LIVE position, very similar to knee on the belly. Its like surfing, you have to make constant adjustments, always work towards backing that ass into his face, keep that knee tight against his hip and post on the far knee, also keeping your elbow in his armpit, keeping his arm over his head, helps destroy the power of his arms.
Coach Zog, I was working more TSC with someone today, but unfortunately he was one of the couple of guys in my gym who is actually lighter than me being a 135 lb'r. I had him try to keep exploding out of TSC and I actually did a pretty good job of keeping the position this time compared to last time, but I don't know how good of a gauge it is keeping TSC vs a lighter person. On a progress note, I think that's probably 50-60 reps going to TSC from standard side control as of tonight =D. Only 940 more reps to go to hit my 1,000 reps mark. Ty for the tips coach, I think they helped a lot.
On a side note, we just got a brand new duo of great wrestling coaches. All I have to say is, wrestling is hard as hell and my muscle memory kept me going to 1/2 Guard and full guard when I was getting plowed by take-downs.
