I could totally do better." No you can't. That's why you're on the couch drinking beer and not in the cage earning cash.

I haven't met a single evolutionary agnostic or atheist that I couldn't roll with. And most of them know jack about their own belief system. It's something they heard in school. It is something that was literally fed to them by the government. And they swallow it hook line and sinker.
I'm a little confused. Atheism isn't a belief system. A baby is born, he comes out of the vagina staring at the ceiling.. BOOM, he's an atheist. He's a clean slate, no belief in a god, no concern. A non-belief is not a belief.

I'd argue the point but we'd be getting into me going on the attack and I'm not going to do that here, it's not the point I want to make, it's not the right forum. I'll pass.

As soon as anybody asks you why you're an atheist, when you answer, that's a belief system. If you're angry about it, that's definitely a belief system.

You can act like atheism is the default if you want, but every ancient culture I'm aware of has a belief in the divine. Whether that's stupid or not is another subject: the universality of that fact is important. If every human being is born an atheist, how do you get there? I'm sure some people have a vague sociological explanation which cannot be tested, but I'm not a soft science fan.

Suffice it to say that there are an infinite number of things we don't believe in because we haven't conceived of them. And yet somehow most if not every ancient culture believed in the divine. I mean, if they all believed in aliens, then that would mean something to you. lol

Well, more than likely somebody taught it to you. Unless you invented it, that's how all religions spread. If there was something inherently within us that believed in God then how could you have so many differing religions and deities and belief systems? I'm sorry but that makes no sense.

If somebody asked me why I am an atheist I would simply reply that I have no reason to believe in a God. That in of itself is not a belief. You believe in God, I'm not even in the game. Atheism was a term created by theists just to round up and artificially formulate an opposition. Personally, I wouldn't even identify myself as an atheist, I am just a dude who calls out nonsense when I see it.

I think that's a fair position. I don't believe that atheism is a default position, but I do think Skepticism should be.

My only issue with religion isn't the religion itself but a large majority of people that follow these religions. The fact that 99% of people haven't even read the whole bible but yet know without a shadow of a doubt that god is real. People don't realize that if they were born in the Middle East, most likely they wouldn't even be Christian or Catholic & they would believe without a shadow of a doubt that their muslum religion is 100% correct without a shadow of a doubt.

The scary thing is challenging your beliefs. My whole life, I was told that if I didn't accept god as my lord & savior, my life would eventually end & after my life is over, I would go to hell. So, you are scared to test your beliefs because if you decide that you don't believe in god or settle on the fact like Joe Rogan that you just flat out don't know if there is a god, then you go to hell which due to the bible or the people that aren't knowledgable of the bible that Exadurate what the bible says, that hell is a very bad place.

Honestly, if believing in god makes you a better person, do your thing. But before you start trying to tell other people about god, I truly believe that you should have atleast read the whole bible & truly researched your religion, by being critical of it & questioning it. Only after you've questioned your religion & done the research to find that answers to your questions can you truly believe in it. Until then, I think you should keep your mouth shut about god, you may do more harm then good when the person that you're talking to has questions & you can't site any references or even give real answers to any of the person's questions.

Don't believe in your religion just because your parents told you to, question it, test it & research it, if you come to a point that you no longer believe, then don't believe, if you feel that you do believe, then do. Do what you want like Joe said & do what makes you happy. Don't follow what everyone else tells you, build your own path & do whatever it is that makes you happy. Like Joe said.

    Thanks for reading...

I am a very negative person, i always treated my body terribly and never tried to better it. Since March/April i have begun training 10th Planet JJ and have also started to eat well and train to get my body to become a well oiled machine as Joe put it, its hard man, its hard to let go of all the things that i had held onto for so long. I think everyone has their own way of getting to the good path and thats what makes this world so fucking interesting. I know personally i have a long long way to go, listening to Joe is always interesting, he has such a different view than mine.
