    Carni is the most succesfful submission in the rubber guard bud. Its a high percentage sub. I throw my leg over a guys face if he puts his hand on the mat when hes in my lockdown.

    Right when he starts to put is hand on your knee or leg, try going to a TP position rather than trying to lock up a triangle right away. Or even a reverse triangle position. Think of it as steps to get to the normal triangle if you can not finish from those two positions. Carni is my favorite as well, but these are two more options I like. Also double bagger is great but I am presuming you do not have great flexibility/not lanky so I figure this could be a problem.

    you heard of the elevator sweep? or maybe the stack attack... im talking about the variation when they're on one knee and one foot. iv been drilling it like crazy recently.. its magic.
    its a butterfly sweep, with the butterfly hook on their standing leg (use pressure to keep that knee from getting back to the ground), while you swing your free leg through the side of their planted knee. youve got no hope pulling it off if people are keeping base on their knees, in fact you'd probably have your guard passed.. but the moment they start transferring weight away from their base, its probably the easiest sweep out there. you just gotta drill it..

    push their hips back with the foot on their hip. if they try to back out then leg curl over their back. if they try to posture up, then double bag or crackhead control works well. what your non rg leg is doing is critical in maintaining control of their posture. work quickly to get to zombie then NY, hit invisible collar. next, pick the sub that would work best against the type of guy you are rolling with.

    If I remember what Eddie taught in the Charlotte seminar yesterday correctly - he said that if your RG is getting passed then don't hang out there all day. As soon as you get to NY quickly clear the neck & race to the kung fu move so that they don't have time to work the pass. As mentioned above you can hit the carni or move to the jiu claw or go for the Hazelett.

    Ok thanks alot guys n gals. im gonna have a play with a few of these ideas, i agree that i should move fast into clearing the neck n going to kungfu coz i guess if he is concentrating on the pass he prob wont be defending so well. i will also drill the carni like crazy. i like crack head alot aswel.
