i want to get a hotbox started in Northern Virginia but i don't know anyone who wants to do 10pjj. i can't go to a gracie gym and ask those guys. i'm gonna ask the guys that do jiu jitsu at george mason university, hopefully they will be open to the revolution. i need to do my 5 competitions but i need more training partners!!!

Obviously, being able to represent 10PJJ is a benefit of starting an official hotbox but is there a thread or something that can tell me if there's any other perks? Not being greedy or anything, just curious. And does the hotbox get to design their own patches or are the hotbox patches basically the same? Miami's design looks cool as shit. haha. And where did the ranking thread go? I didn't see it last time I looked. Damn........I feel like I'm nagging.

Jay Chow designed our logo. He is the 10th Planet design guru. As far as perks, its a ton of work. The perk for me is that I will become a moon and I get to represent the 10th Planet system. It all for tha love and nothing else. If you have the love for the system do your thang if not please dont open a hotbox. If you do it for any other reason you will probably fail.

Definitely, definitely. I just wish that I could roll with more 10th Planet enthusiasts, or hell any BJJ enthusiasts, more often. Not many within a 40 miles radius and most of em have work schedule issues with training. I'm gonna try to make time to go to Charlotte and roll with Jon's guys sometime soon. Last year, we had 15-20 guys meeting up and rolling twice a week but college, work, and gas money issues has cut us down to around 5 since August, which has become lame. I've always rolled for love of it. Thanks for the insight.
