About 6:47 (sounds like Doug Benson?) saying, "Why aren't we sending people undercover to stop kids from drinking in schools?"
Good point. I know of 2 people from my high school that died in auto accidents from driving around drunk before they were even seniors in high school. None of the pot heads ever had any such problems.
The argument about withdrawal symptoms is all based on the fact that the brain is a powerful effing machine. If your brain is convinced enough that it needs something then it can surely produce physical symptoms. The thing is, and I'm no doctor, that this type of thing points more towards the fact that the individual is weak minded and/or has some sort of mental deficiency to begin with. In that case, it isn't the weed that is to blame, but the state of the individual before he/she ingested this hated substance.
In the same light, and I'm pretty sure Eddie has stated this in the preface to his books, that a lot of stupid and weak people smoke weed. The plant, then, should not be the antagonist. Instead, there should be a conscious effort to work with people like this...educate them and motivate them to progress as individuals instead of blaming a plant. As has been said before, weed has a tendency to magnify who you really are...if you're a moron, chances are you'll be doubly so high, same goes if you're insecure, lazy, etc... The problem here is deficient people, not a 'dangerous drug'
