Yes it totally sucks to be out of ADCC. It has always been a dream of mine to compete in ADCC since I was 12, plus this is either the third or fourth time I hurt my back this year. On the bright side I learned a lot preparing for this tournament, so my time training did not go to waist plus it was fun to wake up everyday and train for the best in the world. What happened was about three Saturdays ago I tweaked my back lifting and it got worse to the point to where I could barely drill and not even flow roll. I rested my back for about two weeks and still couldn't roll. So seeing that I was so close to the tournament and I couldn't train not even to maintain my weight, I decided to pull out.
I will also not be conducting my seminars in Nottingham or Essex. I am very sorry for that. Hopefully I get in for ADCC 2013 and assuming I heal up in time I will try to do the 2011 mundials. Thank you everyone.

Good thing is you'll survive to battle again. Thank you so much for the explanation. We've all been hurt in the past: torn ligament here, hair line fracture on the rib there, ... We live to fight another day! 10th Planet
I *shudder* at the thought. That's a terrible, painful, long time to heal injury. Glad you're taking care of yourself Denny. You have an ADCC to win next year =D.
