The Mechanic sweep

Which book is this sweep covered in? I have all three of the Books, tried to quickly find it, but didn't see it.
I coach taught it the other night, and I knew about it before, but I didn;t realize how beautifully it would compliment my game.
So, book and page please?

I think it was originally introduced during one of Einstein's Peterborough seminars, so it may not be in a book. Cannot confirm nor deny.

Eddie has 4 books: Jiu Jitsu Unleashed, Mastering the Twister, Mastering the Rubber Guard, and Advanced Rubber Guard. I may be mistaken, but to me it seems that the mechanic was originally the "Plan B" sweep, as the description of the "Plan B" is practically identical, minus the explanation of the grip around the wrist (still describes the arm pinch on the overhook though).


Edit: I don't know. Maybe the Plan B and Mechanic are different moves actually. Bah.

You fixed it with your edit. Plan B is available from a ton of positions and essentially is rolling them over you when they resist whatever Plan A is. From lockdown, you go for EC and they resist, Plan B. Dogfight they resist Half and Half? Plan B.

The Mechanic is the specific sweep where you grab that whizzer arm, lie flat, etc. Similar concept in that you're rolling them over your body.

Thanks guys. I know how to do the sweep, I was just going to run over it in the book for homework sake. A little bit of study.
