Best Way I would say would be to get ahold of the books and the DVD's starting with Mastering the Rubber Gaurd if you are learning without somone to show you.
It will give you a good concept of the system and you could get good instructions on the Videos before diving into the MTS system on the website.
In the end though nothing beats a instructor even if its here and there and you cant get to them regularly.
