    I love judo and I wish I had been able to focus much more on it. You only get so much time to train, though, and jiu jitsu won. I still have the occasional fantasy about taking a sabbatical for a year to go and train at the Kodokan for a year. Besides a lack of time and money I may have to chloroform the woman and stuff her in a suitcase to make that happen, but still... She might enjoy Japan once she's there.

    It makes it harder to set up my double leg/single leg combo's when the other guy has enough knowledge to keep you up at face level.
    Cool perspective. This is a good thread. I honestly don't know which is better. But I would say knowing both would probably make you a monster in a clinch.
