Eddie, can you clarify the ISOF Overtime rules?

I've had some questions regarding the ISOF overtime rules. Both compeitors start on the back (belly up or down?) I believe you said they are 2 mins. If both competitors get a sub (or neither gets a sub) in the OT rounds it goes to the next OT round? There is a potential for 3 OT rounds? What happens if there are subs in all 3 rounds by both competitors or no subs by both?

I believe if it goes to 3 rounds with subs, the person with the fastest sub in the third round wins

I was just at the midwest submission challenge put on by Derek from Omaha.. and the way it worked was you would time how long it took the person to escape or how long it took the person to submit. So.. If You escaped my position and I escaped yours... whoever did it fastest is the winner. If you escaped and then submitted me you would win. If you submitted me in :10 seconds and I submitted you at:13 seconds, you would win.

I get why these rules are needed, but I like the finality of the 15min. Sub or go home rule set. As a competitor it is my favorite for sure.

    1. Both competitors sitting

    2. If still a tie after 2 rounds then fastest combined escapes wins. (this is to insure the guy with his back taken doesn't just turtle up and do nothing)

    What constitutes an actual escape?

What if the guy that has back mount transitions to mount does it keep going or is that an escape?

What it if he tries the back widow gets to spider web, can't finish? Does it keep going in spider web?

Back to the mount is dead, time stops.

But back to arm bar/spider web is still LIVE and so is back to arm triangle and truck. Back without any leg hooks is also dead.
