What was the final score and what maneuvers scored the points?

I know they gave the takedown points after his head popped out of the guillotine.

Not sure why ref restarted in the center from a locked in sub.

AJ is super good, though. No shame losing to him in any fashion, much less the way this one went down.

AJ is a a D1 wrestler, not just a Bjj black belt. He also won the black belt absolute later that day beating Samir and Eduardo Telles. He also won the ADCC trials. If that match was a roll at any academy worldwide, I think most people would've thought Denny won. He had 2 deep subs plus he threw some rubber guard heat at him too. AJ had 2 questionable takedowns and that's it, no passes, no near subs, Denny was never in any danger. Denny did great against a high level grappler, I am very proud of him :-)

AJ is a GB guy at an IBJJF tourney. That being said, he is one of their elite. As Eddie mentioned, all his accolades are for real. I saw him earn his way through the ADCC trials. He's definitely no pushover.

But Denny, you did really awesome! I've never seen AJ get into that type of trouble. So props!! As for stopping you mid-guillotine... very disheartening because you were about to get that for sure. Then to top it off by giving him 2 after the reset, that's just wrong.
