Bellator Moves Entire Show to Live & Free on Spike TV

Bellator just wrapped up an emergency phone press-conference and Bjorn Rebney just announced that the Bellator PPV will be offered for free on Spike TV on November 2nd.

Apparently Tito Ortiz still wanted to go on with the fight but his doctor advised that it could lead to paralysis if his injury wasn't fixed. Bellator still has plans for a PPV, but they will postpone it probably until 2014. The promotion was thinking about putting in Atilla Veigh to face Rampage Jackson, but those ideas were scrapped and Rampage will not face a replacement. Also Eddie Alvarez doesn't lose out on his PPV bonus, which I still don't see how that doesn't happen. If you purchased the PPV you will get a full refund.

More likely the projected Pay Per Views amount was nowhere close to what Bellator expected. I didn't see a huge interest from guys I train with to spend money on seeing that card. I bet they realized they were going to lose their ass and came up with the plan to pull the plug. Throw Tito some money for saying he's injured. He gets tons of press because he can jump up and down saying he's a warrior and he will fight, so he doesn't lose face, but Bellator and the doctors wont allow it. Tell Tito they will make it up to him down the road ( Maybe in the near future we see Tito become the new cage side commentator ) Than move the card to Spike for whatever they can sell it for. In the end I would guess it's all about the money.
