Like who specifically? I don't see any high level guys using the lockdown except for stalling. Although Macaco uses it, he's nailed an electric chair or 2 in comp

What are the biggest mistakes novices make in jiu jitsu competition and training?

Even at pro level, grappling and MMA, what mistakes are most common?

What are your key principles for better, more consistent jiu jitsu?

Sorta cheating with the three questions! Can't wait to see you back in the UK. Grimsby seminar was awesome.

I've seen Kron play rubber guard (he did it a little bit against Aoki/Metamoris 2) and then I've seen Keenan use the RG in a few of his matches.

I know that no one at the Top Levels use the System as a goto, however this is in terms when you see a "Snippet" of the system used by Top Level Players.

What ways do you deal with the stack (with them grinding their head into yours) when trying to work rubber guard.

Also any plans or anything of coming to Ireland?

    1. Training: Being afraid to start off rolls on bottom. Midget wrestling is a bad sign for both guys. Competition: if you are a white belt and competing then you are making no competition mistakes.

    2. At the pro level the most common mistake a grappler can make is being close minded especially in Mma.

    3. Drills, sparring & competition

When I see high level guys use 10p techs I assume they are very open minded grapplers and I naturally and instantly become a fan

Expect the stack, embrace it, it's part of the game. Patience is the key. A foot on the hip can relieve the pressure
, just don't panic and wait for the right angle to advance, force it if you have to.

I plan on hitting 10th Planet Glasgow on my next UK tour this summer

I havent been able to train at all lately between cost in travel and work hours its just not going to happen at this time. What can I do at home to stay above water as that after soooo much time in it can be discouraging to come back to class and be so far behind everything.
