    competing again unprepared

Competing in the Midwest Submission Challenge tomorrow with little to no preparation. I originally wasn't going to compete because I haven't really been able to train the necessary amount of time it takes to get ready, but Derek's brackets were looking slim and I decided to step up. For those that don't know I've only been in the system for about 9 months. This will be my second competition at purple, I'll be fighting 2 weight class up from my norm, and probably pretty shitty cardio. My main goal tomorrow will just be to see if I can finish a couple good RG and lock down paths on people as good or better than me even if I don't get the sub. Win or lose it should be interesting.

Goals are good man, keep them throughout the day and kill it out there. Give it your all.

and Im not a "positive outlook" guy by any means, but dang bro, keep your head up and think bright side. You're going out there to do something that most people don't ever have the guts to do...and blah bla bla...now pay the secretary up front..,

Thanks guys. I figure it can't hurt. Just had to put it in writing to let myself know what I'm doing. (I know that probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense)

But a good one to know and kill at.

BJ, for me..I compete a decent amount and sometimes I'm not always feeling it, but I do it bc I know I'll learn no matter what. My main focuses are usually to defend and to just move. Sometimes you get lax bc you're not feeling it or you're not as prepared as you thought you'd be. Just don't be lazy and move! Sounds easy, but it's not always.
