I've had a lot of time to research footage while recovering. While looking into rubber guard vids, I've found quite a lot of techniques I didn't know about. If anybody else has some more moves to add in, please share.

"The Oprah" Brandon Mccaghren - I was just starting to experiment with having my leg across the opponent's hip and foot hooking his side before I was injured. Seemed like some good possibilities there. This is a slick looking option vs the carni.

Found out the origins of the "rex angle" - Jeff Rexrode pulls off this sub and Eddie later calls it the rex angle. He dead orchards the arm with the rex angle on.

Something I hadn't noticed or been taught before, Eddie keeps his right foot up in the opponent's arm pit and holds his foot with his free left hand while forcing kung fu/gogo. This vid shows it well. This looks like it keeps his free arm locked in well and keeps him from stuffing your leg to work to pass.

I had thought I had a pretty good handle on the options people had come up with in rubber guard, but there was a ton more out there than I knew. What else am I missing? Anyone else have some advanced techniques/vids to show for moves in the closed guard. Moves outside of the paths already shown in Eddie's books and MTS.
