    BJJ Heroes create Rubber Guard page - still no page for Eddie Bravo or 10th Planet

    The Rubber Guard page was finally created by there still isn't any recognition for Eddie or the 10th planet system!

    "The rubber guard (RG) is a grappling position of origin unknown that was first seen being put to use in competitions by Nino Schembri in the late 1990s decade, later being also picked up by Eddie Bravo in the early 2000s, who developed a training method heavily based on this particular situation."

    At least the page gives some credit.

    I really think at this point the NoGi community has to be aware of what we @ 10th planet bring to the table. If not, then we will painfully bring it to their attention.

    I wish there was an interview with eddie (maybe there is) where he breaks down how he came up with all the parts for the basic rubber guard. Mission Control, Zombie, New York ect. I always wondered how much of it was influenced by Jean Jaques no-gi game. Mostly the zombie/trapping the arm.
