Interesting mount escape, easy position to get to. But if the opponent crosses their feet below your butt, what's the most effective way to get the feet uncrossed?
Just want to say again something that has been said many times. These new MTS are fucking awesome! Such high production value. High quality from camera work down through the editing and post-production. And Eddie's instructions are totally on-point every single time.
MTS has graduated to a new level about 4 versions ago.

iam still not 100% on how reverse alcatraz works?? i cant get my legs into the initial postion. but iam not sure whats happening after that? am I just lifting the inside leg upward and pushing down on the hip? maybe i need to watch it again. any clarification is appreciated.

It ain't easy, it's a battle, leg and feet dexterity is the key to breaking open crossed feet in the mount

I think a key is to make sure you're locking your feet/ankles together to create a fair amount of friction on your opponents ankle. Then, using the frame of your arms, shift your opponents weight on to the opposite side. Then lift with your legs and press with your arms to lift their hips and the trapped leg into the air to effect the escape.
