If his base is wide then get under and electric chair, he will have to post in order not to be swept ehich means he can't hit you. If his base is to narrow to easily get under then it should be easy enough to old school.
As always with lockdown, don't just hold it, move him with it, use it to move yourself. You shouldn't be static, it is easy to forget this and just squeeze and hold, but the major benefit of lockdown isn't that it is tighter it is that you can use it to manipulate his leg and therefore his base. Especially if you don't have a strong upperbody control you need to use it to get in and clinch.
