Most effective ways to strengthen the wrist??

I was wondering how people here go about improving their wrist strength? Currently I do Kettlebell snatches and things like Pull-ups etc.

I saw on the ultimate fighter Brock's team seemed to be using this silver ring contraption in a circular manor to strengthen their wrist and forearm. Does anyone know how effective that thing is?

I have always had good results with gripping machines/exercises and hitting the heavy bag. Make sure when you hit the heavy bag that you are hitting it as hard as you can, with proper form of course, but not where you are hurting your wrists, as that would be counter productive.

there is an exercise you can do with a bar and rope with a weight tied to the end where you roll it up they make them or you can construct you own with a dumbbell bar.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...T763SM43WHR43B

Hery thanks for the link. I actually saw one of those things years ago in a Boxing gym but forgot about it. This might just be what I'm looking for.

    Thanks again

you can do wrist curls and inverse wrist curls with a dumbell. just kneel beside a bench and place your elbow/forearm across it and curl whatever your combortable with.

for grip, rope pullups are class. i normally just swing a towel over a pullup bar and your good to go.
