Just to be different, I'll say CA. I hate LA though. I'd suggest San Diego, which seems to have become the American Mecca for BJJ. Go train with Saulo and Xande Ribeiro for awhile and watch what it does to your game. I plan to move there for a year or two at some point for exactly that reason.

Amsterdam sounds like the smarter move. If you move to LA, that $5k inheritance is going to be gone in less than a month. It's not going to take you far at all.

Amsterdam seems to be the wiser move if it's easier to find work. Get a job. Start a hotbox. And take the steps necessary to turn that hotbox into a moon. Doing the same in LA would be 100x harder. Go the smart route.

That's what I mean, the Amsterdam route involves opening my own school, the LA route involves just training at HQ. I wouldn't bother attempting to open a school in LA, especially with Vista, Riverside and HQ already there!
