I've been training for the last four months, rolling and drilling with no problems for the first two and a half months. I rolled three days in a row at one point, with there being a pain in my ribs after the first of these three days. It hasn't left since and I've taken the last month off to rest, zero exercise, just light stretching and yoga. I even went to my doctor, with them prescribing anti-inflammatory lotion. So for the last week my ribs have been fine, the pain I had when I turned a certain way and when I took deep breaths, was gone.
But after my first session back on the mats, it's back, and worse than ever. There's no bruising that I can see, just a slight red marking. I'm getting it x-rayed in a few days and would really like to know does anyone out there have any experience with this type of injury?
