25 miles. Freeways make it 35-40 minutes for me. Thanks to Brad Hallin, I am going to have to count the number of bjj places I pass on my way to train with the best!
Frank bleeds 10th Planet. His Car decked out in 10th Planet Colors (moon and all), His Brown Belt this year, and his teaching style is dedication enough IMO. But 8 trips to HQ makes him even more of an ironman. All the guys that have to travel 45 mins+ have my respect. Thats a long ass drive in an economy thats driven the price of gas through the roof.
5 hours 48 mintues to Springfiled, OR.
5 hours 6 minutes to San Francisco.
No hotboxes
Thinking about spending my thanksgiving break in San Fran.
Problem is with the cost of classes (not that it isn't a good value) gas, and lodging, probably wont happen.
Cant wait to finish my damn degree and have a little money one day.
10,000 miles one way twice per year in 2009 and 2010. 8 trips to HQ since 2006 from Australia!
3278kms twice a year to train with frank and 4 times a week and a 100 km round trip to the gym so 45 each way sometimes a hour and a half depending on traffic
i have to push through peak hour traffic on the way to training so it's a little over an hour during the week. On saturdays it only takes me 40 minutes, Which isn't that bad. i used to live 30 minutes further out that i do currently, so it used to be an hour and a half up each way to training.
it's good in a way though, it gives you plenty of time for it all to sink in.
