We took a smaller group this time and I'll let West LA account for their own group's performance but we won some medals, broke some hearts, and instilled fear into the minds of our enemies at Grapplers Quest this weekend.

Curtis Hembroff, our strength and conditioning coach, finished an Intermediate match with a variant of the Muddy Waters path. Instead of locking the far side shoulder, Curtis likes to triangle his own foot for a tight leg clench that allows him to finish the armbar.
