    Got my Blue Belt!

I was promoted yesterday by Master Caique and Warrior Way to blue belt! It's one of the best moments I've had in jiu jitsu to receive my first colored belt. My instructor said right around purple belt rank ups are scarier because then you realize how wicked the new competition is :P

I got to witness Miles Jury receiving his black belt too! After studying jiu jitsu on my own for about 3 years (10th planet books/material served as my first inspiration and still influence a great deal of my game and how I approach things) and my year or so under my instructor, I feel like all the hard work has paid off

Congrats man, I always enjoy watching David Garmo and Alex Hodi come up to Canada to compete. There's definitely some killers at Caique!
