Hey friends, coming off of a recent victory in the Oregon Open Championship in both the Elite Division and the Elite Absolute Division at the 185 weight class I was feeling super confident going into this battle in Reno. It was against a big strong opponent and they changed the rules when I got there to not allow heel hooks because it was the first time having BJJ in their fight promotion and they didn't want anyone getting injured. I assume by anyone they meant their guys that don't train to snap off legs at the heel. It was all good though, adapt and overcome. The video is a bit wonky but it's not too bad. Check it out!

World Fighting Championship 44
I started training in 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu in 2006 after serving 4 years in the USAF.
I became a professional MMA fighter in 2009 and got my blackbelt from Eddie in January of 2016.
