It kinda looked like BJ gave up on the fight before he even stepped in the ring. Did anyone else get that feeling?

BJ just didnt look like himself from the moment he entered the cage. He was missing something. Anyone else see where he just stared off into space while his corner poked him in the side of the head with his cage banner? I'm a huge Penn fan. But at that moment I just took a deep breath and mumbled 'oh fuck'.

I live in Ohio, so I train a little with a gi when it gets close to winter. It is so I am able to take advantage of a jacket if I need to defend myself. Other than that, I enjoy no gi better

I was there at the UFC a few sections over from Eddie B. himself and I wish I could have read his mind at that moment.

I was about 20 rows back from the cage yelling "HUG THE KNEE". He really seemed lost from the opening bell.

    I was thinking the same...

Anyway... Respect to both fighters. But Frankie really brought the fight. No question who one every round of the fight. I was impressed by Frankie's performance.

I wouldn't criticize BJ at all. He's a living legend like Eddie just said.

Frankie was just better that night.
