I just finished watching it. It was a great fight but what was McCullen thinking, trying to beat up Imanari in his guard? Beautiful guard recovery skills by Imanari.

Even tho Imanari took alot of heavy shots while playing double wrist control guard, his over all bottom game was right up there with the best in the world. Crazy fucking arm bar at the end, dudes arm looked mangled

Oh hell yeah. His arm was hurting. With Imanari when he looks so focused and is taking shots you get the feeling it's just a matter of time for his opponent.

Ya it was a good display of ground skill he just needs to hug his knee that's why Abel was just pulling outta the first few gogo attempts

In his defense, Abel wasn't too focused on his posture so i can see how Imanari would give up his tightness to gain more pliability with his leg. It's a situational give and take. We've all played RG on a non posturing opponent and gotten too carried away with what we can do.

His guard has always been dangerous, but it's even better now.

What shocked the shit out of me were those hooks he was landing in the standup.
