    In slow motion on the first entry you can see his head bounce off of the guys thigh. Im wondering if he did that on purpose to avoid the knee to the head or just got really close.

    Probably both. Probably used the thigh as a target and the moment it touched his face, was the trigger to spin. Otherwise all the force running into the thigh without deflecting that energy could knock you out.

    i love watching leg lock guys in MMA but the russian roulette game they play with taking punches is so stressful to watch. i have to get drunk just to watch an Imanari fight just to ease the tension.

    Yea, his first entry completely shocked me.. made me forget I was watching MMA. But then after that was it de la riva, invert, to the back? I couldn't get a good angle of it during the fight and that replay makes it tough to see also.. Either way, some superb Jiu-Jitsu from a fighter I've never heard of.
