First Tournament coming up, any tips/adivce?

My first tournament is on Saturday March 24, St. Louis NAGA. I am competing in two No-Gi novice divisions. I was just seeing if anyone had any tips or advice. I really don't know what type of food or equipment I should bring with me. Thanks for the help.

Pay close attention to the rules and scoring. Don't rush through positions if you advance lock it in and collect your points. A 3 second count seams like 3 minutes when your the one fighting. Get your turtle points whenever possible. Pulling guard without control will cost you. Sub attempts equal point be aggressive with subs that won't cost you position if you don't finish. Most important have fun!
Keep your stick on the ice TO THE 10TH POWER!!!

Go in confident but not cocky. Remember that when it comes to forcing your will in a match its mostly mental! You need to be calm cool and collected. As far as food, I am used to being too close to weight to eat much but usually bananas peanut butter sandwiches gatorade and protein drinks are in my bag.

if your wrestling sucks, dont pull guard counter his shot or throw then use that to get takedown points, you can pull guard from front headlock if you really want, but top game is best.
