Botello went against a black belt, had him in the truck but lost 10-6. I haven't seen the match but John told me he was pretty happy about his performance considering he was matched up with a black belt, video coming soon

I covered that division and Botello and Curreri were on opposite sides I believe.

Not sure who John faced honestly. There was definitely an opportunity for him to take the back of his opponent but it was missed. Was a closer match than the score indicates, if my memory serves me correct -- although the score indicates relatively close affair.

Is this young lady one of the 10PJJ athletes and if so, what is her name?

Not sure where the guy was from. All I know is he was a lot taller than me.. Then again, everyone is a lot taller than me. Haha!! Someone in the crowd said he was a black belt. If anyone knows different please let me know l. He took my back with a minute left or so. All in all, It was a great time at my new weight of 139. I'll be here for a while. I felt happy about my performance. I see only good things coming from this weight class for me.

It was a good time. The lines were Hellas long, but I will do it again next year.
