10th Planet Sherman is 79 miles north of Dallas. Classes are @ 7:30 every night except Saturday. If the time doesn't work with your schedule I'm sure something can be arranged:-). ( if you come to Sherman,please don't bring your gi) ;-)

If you want to stick with no-gi you could go to Chris Brennan school. Plus a bonus they have Olympic Gold medalist Kendall Cross teaching wrestling there.

I'm going to start working on getting a Hot Box in Dallas. Chris Herzog, what logo should I get to wear to fights? Can I buy and wear the white belt patch from the store? Or do I need to qualify for the while belt somehow? Thanks!

I live in North Dallas and drive up to the Sherman 10th planet location twice per week for the 7:30pm class. It's about an hour drive each way. I've trained at a couple other places in Dallas and eventually decided it was worth the drive to get some actual live 10th planet training instead of watching videos and trying to make it work in places where I was the only one trying it out. It's also a whole different world when you have other people doing these techniques TO you as well...

Also on Saturday there is a rec center near my house that has a Jiu jitsu class where they let you wear gi or no gi. It's taught by a purple belt from a gym in the area but I like going there to test out my 10th planet stuff on non 10th planet people who know what they are doing. If you're interested in that one it's at the Huffhines rec center on Arapaho at 12pm, first class is free then $50/month via signup at cor.net

If you start a place in the Dallas area I'll probably start coming by at least once per week...
