The obvious sources are Mastering the Rubber Guard and Mastering the Twister (I use both!) but another one that is LOADED with sneaky moves is Karo Parysian's Judo for MMA. He modified his whole judo game for no-gi, so it translates really well.

The only actual advice I'd give would be not to abandon a move once you've "got it." Keep drilling it too. We've got what we call the 10,000 Club where we keep track of how many reps of a given move you've drilled. Once you've done 10,000 reps, you've graduated kindergarden and can say that you know the move. Then you try to drill the next move 10,000 times. Doesn't sound like much, but you'd be surprised how few reps you actually do in a given session, or even a given month.

Seems like we will get a blue belt to teach us! A student that might start a bjj class! Wohoo! We are going to train with her tomorrow!

We will change the name of our blog since we will not be "self schooled" after all! What do you like best: noegobjj.com or egofreebjj.com? (I own both by the way.. ).

Yes! We now have an instructor! Her name is Oda and she is a blue belt under Eduardo Rios "Teta" from frontline academy in Oslo. We had our first training session with her on Saturday: http://egofreebjj.com/bjj-practice-3.html

Oh, and the new name for our blog is "Ego Free BJJ". Maybe an admin can change the name of this thread to that? Anyway..we are stoked!

Managed to squeeze in a morning session today. Practiced the scissor sweep, the torro pass and did a sparring session at the end (positional). Video here: http://egofreebjj.com/bjj-practice-4.html
