Machida, on the other hand, has faced strong grapplers. Bigger boys than Sonnen. And have any of them put him on his back and controlled him?

So let's compare: Sonnen gotten tagged more times than Machida's been taken down and controlled. I'd say the fight favors Machida.
I love how all the Brazilians are injured when they do shitty.
Complaining about injury, after a fight, even when you win.

I'm of the opinion that if you choose to step in the cage,
then you have no right to complain about injury after the fact.
If you're injured enough to try and discredit the other fighter, then don't fight.

I understand what you're saying though, but Silva is still a far superior
striker than Machida and Sonnen blasted him with his own strikes,
and he never looked like the fighters that Silva has dominated.

I honestly am a Machida fan, but I honestly think Sonnen would
    beat him.

Lets see Machida get down to 185 before he thinks about getting GnP out by Sonnen.

Yeah I have to take Sonnen too (as much as I like Machida as well).

Hmm, they might do better with an AOL instant message, or maybe IRC.

Machida aint going to 185, I think Chael needs to step up to 205, where he will lose most of his top control and clinch takedown advantages, so there goes all of his decision victories ala Nate Marq. etc.. meaning he needs to sub or K.O. Machida, which is still possible but unlikely no matter how entertaining Chael Sonnen gets.

Yeah I guess you lose all your wrestling technique if you gain weight.

Chael would put a beat down on Machida... 185, 205, w/e weight!
