    Is 1/4 guard good for street fights?

    I fell like its hard to defend punches. What do you guys think about it?

    In a punching situation being on top is always an advantage. Guards does exist because they are actually created IF we found ourselves at bottom we may have a chance.

    If 1/4 Guard means for you an easy Ministomp to Lockdown sweep then fuck yea it is!

    ...snatching 1/4 Guard is just the 1st step in acquiring your clinch and advancing position from your back.

    1/4 perfect DUs is a safe position. Then it’s just one little shift and you’re in dogfight in a classic wrestling position
