yo what's with Joe cutting Eddie off when he's trying to make a point or tell a story on the podcast, that's just rude, especially when Eddie is the one i want to hear talk when he's on the podcast not brian's annoying ass, always changing the subject to stupid shit like i phones, because he's self consious about working out, jiujitsu, & being out of shape

LOL!!!!! although it is joe's podcast and he can and does do whatever the fuck he wants, it is true that specific podcast shoulda been catered to eddie being on it and he could've AT least spent 5 or so min playing along...he is the only one who "outs" what's really going on.....suppose half the people didn't know what was going on as he said, it would've given the incentive to have the fans look up who Renato is just like the fans usually do and made the brilliance of Renato more popular/widespread...I do think everyone except him has fun playing along..but whatever what can you do...can't force ppl's interests...especially hogan's.

Joe's podcast hits half a million listeners, the % of those listeners that are bjj or fight fans is probably pretty low. In order to maintain his listeners he has to keep the conversation flowing and he already gets complaints of spending to much time on fighting. The podcast is an important piece of Joe's business of comedy, he is entitled to run it how he sees fit. If you like it listen to it, if not oh well. With the following he has, he is doing something right so I doubt he is going to start catering to 10th planet people specifically.

I love Denny, there is no one I respect more, and in most situations he will always have my deference, but If he walks in to my job, where I am the expert, I would do what I felt was best when it comes to keeping a roof over my head. Likewise Joe is a master of the podcast, he might have fun with it but it is still work so he has to do what makes sense for him.

hey i agree with you 100%...also what was said earlier about the relationship between friends and how those 2 interact. I don't feel joe was being rude to eddie at all considering they are best friends...i talk like they do with my friends. however, i do think i remember Eddie saying he discussed with Joe ahead of time about having Renato call in and him saying it was cool. That's the only thing is eddie let his fans know Renato was gonna call in the podcast and looking forward to it...I think Joe knew about it. It woulda been cool had Joe said something and cancelled that expectation ahead of time...plus, eddie bravo was on the show not some alien architect, comedian, or time traveler. I think the listeners expected to talk about martial arts, some weed, and what's involved in the guest eddie that day. And keeping a roof over his head shouldn't be a problem really...it does have his listeners go to his shows/advertise fleshlights but you can't deny reban throws a curveball a majority of the time. But like I (and you) said...Joe can do whatever the fuck he wants...it's his podcast....and he didn't feel like doing it. However, I think the few of us were dissapointed he didn't play along and doesn't seem that into it.

Not always a bad thing, but not always a good thing.

They are friends though, so if it really was some harsh thing, I don't think Joe would do it the times he may have.
