    This exactly.

Again, I totally would be on board to work a soup kitchen or a feed the kids community service event, but the cops here were doing the right thing since this requires a permit to do.

    This too, right on.

A "Public" park doesn't give any asshole the right to do what they want even if you our a taxpayer! ***THIS WAS A SET UP***they knew they where going to get arrested, that's why there was so many video camera going!!! And to the people on this thread who are upset with the police actions...this wasn't about feeding a child or the poor or about wrong or right...This was a dumb fuck, religious group or people demonstrating!!! If they wanted to feed children or the poor they could have done it at their church or at their own houses!!! But no they were making a stance. Sorry but there are laws in this world,(Right or Wrong) and they had other options but decided against them....Thank You Orlando Police Department....see this video for what it really was.........

funny how you never seem to bring this up on any of the weed threads, or "passing a drug test" threads.

The entire civil rights movement was based upon this philosophy. Even then people were saying things like, "That's what those idiots get, they knew damn well that it was against the law for coloreds to go into that deli and drink from the white people fountain."

Clearly they are breaking the law, but the debate here is about whether or not the law is valid.

agreed. those people have nothing to be ashamed of.

Let's get this straight, I didn't make one goddam political statement.
And you've GOT to be shitting me about turning this forum into my own
grandstand, have you read ANY of the other ridiculous posts around here?

Next time any of you post anything about anything illegal, I'm gonna jump
all over it. Let me guess, what you do is justified, but these dirty hippies?
Fuck them right? Get over yourselves.

And yes, they knew they were going to get arrested, because it was the 3rd
time the cops hunted them down in a park to arrest them for feeding the homeless.

Next time you guys are down on your luck, let's see if you want those who
are trying to help to get arrested.

The cameras are there to keep the cops clean, because Orlando cops
are notorious for shooting then asking questions later.

Let me guess, all you saw was some dumbass hippies trying to get attention.
You think that's what the people eating saw?

Go through your life and do only as your told, brainwashed robots.

(my plan to infiltrate the Nibiru forums and spread my political malice is working!!!)

ok, basically they are at Lake Eola, Lake Eola is a huge hangout for homeless people. Orlando has gotten very strict with the homeless. They passed this law to prevent the homeless from panhandling food from the hundreds of working people that eat luch at the park. These asshole were trying to be cute and give away free food, it was even advertised on local radio stations. Basically they were trying to tell the police that they are above the law and could give out food where ever and when ever they want. The cops should have beat the idiots that organized it... and this is VERY old btw
