10th Planet Daly City, CA
Born in San Francisco and raised in Daly City, head coach Gino Francisco is an Filipino American who began training martial arts at age 4. Since then he has practiced a number of different disciplines such as Jiu Jitsu, Shotokan Karate, Muay Thai, Judo, Tae Kwon Do, boxing, and mixed martial arts.
While living in Los Angeles in 2009, Gino met 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu founder Eddie Bravo and began training at the headquarters in Downtown LA. He spent 5 years training under Eddie, and eventually returned to San Francisco in 2014. He continued his training at the 10th Planet San Francisco academy and in 2018, he brought the 10th Planet system to his hometown of Daly City. 10th Planet Daly City now offers a variety of different programs, including youth and adult jiu jitsu, kickboxing MMA, and combat jiu jitsu.
