Matt “Monster” Paul is a 1st Degree 10th Planet Black Belt and the owner and head instructor of 10th Planet Littleton. With more than 30 fights across multiple combat sports, Matt has spent his career competing and coaching at a high level.
His competitive accomplishments include a Combat Wrestling World Championship, two Combat Wrestling National Championships, multiple Gracie Worlds Championships, professional MMA, professional kickboxing, and professional grappling. In kickboxing, Matt became a **WAKO National Champion, earning his place on Team USA and representing the United States at the WAKO World Championships in Italy.**
As a coach, Matt has worked with professional and high-level athletes competing in the **UFC, PFL, bare-knuckle fighting, MMA, and professional grappling.**
Matt’s approach to Jiu Jitsu is heavily influenced by his experience as both a competitor and coach. Rather than teaching isolated techniques, he focuses on movement, position, reactions, and understanding how each action creates the next opportunity.
At 10th Planet Littleton, students can develop their Jiu Jitsu in a welcoming but challenging environment, whether their goal is competition, fighting, self-defense, fitness, or simply becoming a better martial artist.
