Personal Biography
Tim Freeman is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Sergio Silva) and a 10th Planet Brown Belt with over 15 years of experience studying, teaching, and competing. Tim has met and trained with many talented Jiu-Jitsu practitioners leading him to develop a well rounded skill set in wrestling, judo, self-defense, Gi and No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu.
Tim is the head instructor at 10th Planet Stockton. Tim’s kid’s Jiu-Jitsu program has won the best in San Joaquin County for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. Tim still competes and trains as much as possible. Tim is active in the grappling community providing commentary for many grappling PPV events such as the World Jiu-Jitsu Expo, Gracie Nationals, Fight Two Win, and the BJJ Tour. Tim has interviewed the best of the best in the grappling world as the host of the Inside BJJ podcast.
