“The new disqus” doesn’t seem to load properly on my Mac.
I thought that arm triangle was over. Great come from behind win.
what happens in the 1:15 to 1:16 fight.. the fight gets cut.. and then resumes with the blue tshirt guy going for an armbar..
?????
Honda Housey has some serious hips, the torque on those armbars make them killers.
Yeah, it’s the torque that makes them killer….. 😉
look at Ronda coming up with some sweet transitions.
Great stuff all around i like the format for the tourney matches much respect
Great episode

Hey My Name Is Jeff, Just Wanted To Ask A Few Questions, Ok I Have Been In Martial Arts Since I Was 8 Years Old From A 1st. Degree Black Belt In Shotokan, 1 Degree Black Belt In Tae-Kwon-Do And, A 2nd Black Belt Degree In Shito-Ryu And, Wanted To Learn Ground Game For MMA So I Looked Around And, Found A Gracie School Near Me So I Tried It And, I Dont Think Its Worth The Money For Only A Hour Or Two Of Training And, Dont Teach You Certian Things You Have Deal With In The Cage I Just Fell Like I’am Not Learning The Right Way For MMA. I Really Want To Start Training So I Can Become The Person I Know I Can Be, Just Want Someone Out There To See That I Really Want This More Than Anything, Just Asking For Advise On What I So Do Or Should Go Next, Thanks Brother.
I am also a white belt just learn bjj, it just takes time, and the Gracie liniage has got to be the best.
I am a wounded veteran and have a love for Jiu Jitsu and medical marijuana, they both help me tremendously in my life. I think its amazing someone like you is spreading the word and teaching such a great sport. Thank you for all you time. Mad love Mr.Bravo!!
the ditch out works when they try to underpass too. on the side they’re trying to pass to just press their wrist into your leg and get your hips up so your weight is on their shoulder then then rest is the same roll that Ronda did. Just learned this last week in no-gi. Solid move.
Any chance I can watch MTS on ROKU or Apple TV in the future? I want to watch this on my HDTV>
Is pay pal the only way to pay for the pro membership b/c that’s all I see? help neone
I just stare at a white screen page
Great episode – Jujitsu is a science and 10thPlanet is one of its leading test laboratories. Keep thinking up great transitions and techniques!
Hey 10thPlanet – do you think Ethan is a potential Marcelo?
(Sorry for cliff notes folks and fighters )
I would like to do a experiment where as many as possible participating MMA boxing and jujitsu clubs filmed their stand up (if its MMA or JJJ or some G JJ clubs) and there ground work (for say a month and shared the results on say Sherdog,10thPlanet or Fight-hub etc or some other website – i.e I am not plugging websites here) as well to analyze all the new techniques and transitions – there must be hundreds of creative practitioners making innovations without them actually knowing that they had made something new – how many times have you gained a victory without knowing all the steps of a combination – we then take that data and see if any of these are high percentage moves which have no connection between the separate fighters (i.e no person has directly taught another – the technique is thus happening out of necessity and because it works to gain victory) – how many instructors notice any of there students inventing new moves (even with youtube etc) or coaches who are making up new moves – are not noticing that there must be physical laws to fighting as there are with other human activities. Human ability is limitless but if we analyze what works it gives us a step and towards making the process better. So yes we have the UFC as a testing ground but we maybe missing new ways to make fighters more effective – if you take all training time it is always going to throw up more ideas to condense down into something practical to test rather than just analyzing the UFC or Strikeforce fights alone we can also see what works in self-protection which via war is the true reason for fighting systems, as well as what is specific to sport grappling (where ideas are becoming ever more sophisticated) and MMA where ideas are being condensed via the elimination of complexity because of the need to control distance and avoid strikes as well as the limited amount of time to master so many different techniques that a few techniques are becoming specialties of certain MMA fighters but at the same time fighters are having to become more sophisticated in transitions to make combinations of few and fewer techniques – thats the paradox and why we need real time condensation of training videos down to moves that re-occur naturally and work. 10th Planet is helping that happen in many ways- Thanks Ronda Housey for making think on developing this experiment idea – by the way she is a true warrior, great transition and keep collecting arm bar submissions.
That was one of the most epic grappling matches I have ever seen – respect to both fighters
Why do you go under your right leg instead of over when you pull your mission control arm out
Maybe I just don’t know the grappling rules cause I’m new. But why did the “winner” get arm bar position to start?
this confused me also, the one guy started in mount, but the other started in spider web, why was this? anyone?
epic jiu jitsu match at the end! thanks for MTS eddie
Hi eddie just to let u knw u are awesome I just got into an argument with my bjj instructor at wai kru Boston ma for telling me not to use ur techniques so I left the gym. U need to open a 10th planet in Boston man the north east needs it
