Last Flat Earth Post

I started out as a huge skeptic of flat Earth and dived into hours of research and experiments to prove what I was taught in school. I failed to prove to myself that the Earth is a Sphere or that it's spinning. Don't listen to me! do your own research!

Use your own senses and reasoning!

Also, your body has a natural sense of balance or equilibrioception; This is your bodies ability to detect movement. This is how you feel motion, even with your eyes closed on a Merry-go-Round.... The Earth is supposedly spinning at 1040 miles an hour! Why can't our bodies detect that rotation?! Why have we never been able to measure the Earth's rotation with any computer/device? We can only estimate, based on VLBI arrays(Very Long baseline Interferometry).

If you think it got censored, take a stroll through the he forum... I would say a tech problem. Or it's cause you are either new or unsubscribeed maybe? Definately not censored in my opinion.

I don't know Eddie but I have heard him on JRE a few times and I'm genuinely concerned for him about this flat earth stuff.

The flat earth model is so easily debunked by the two simple observations you can make with your own eyes. Those being the setting of the sun and the stars (and their movement) in the northern and southern hemispheres.

Another one is the flat earthers say the sun is like a flash light, but whenever they show an animation of this only a small amount of the disc is illuminated but we know that at any one time half the world is in day light the other half in darkness.

With social media and webcams around the world it would be easy to verify the day/night thing.

Hey Eddie. You always seem to ask "why a globe" perhaps this may shed some light on it for all of you.

You also mentioned you were raised Catholic and how are you to know that that's the correct religion. The two kinda go hand in hand. The Bible itself explains that the heavens are separated from the earth. The book of Genesis speaks of the firmament above the earth and waters above the waters that are here on earth. In the book of Isaiah, God makes the sun go backwards.

“ ‘This is the LORD’s sign to you that the LORD will do what he has promised: I will make the shadow cast by the sun go back the ten steps it has gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.’ ” So the sunlight went back the ten steps it had gone down.”

He doesn't make the earth spin backwards, he made the sun change direction. This is one you'll find interesting. Along with capernicus and his false theory, certain truths were removed from the Bible, some hidden. Letters were written by the disciples of Christ and here's one example from dialogue of the savior. This is Christ himself talking to Judas

The entire concept of space being anything other than the heavens as Gods dwelling place and instead being some vast expanse removes God from his own home. Science making humans seem like insignificant bags of flesh in the vast universe again takes away the fact that not only did God created it all, he did it for us because he loved us. I'm not one for "religion" these days but Christ did walk this earth and he was indeed the Son of God. Scripture directs us to truth. That's what God left it here for.

Hi there - I think the key to figuring out the true shape of the Earth is the North Star, Polaris -- Since we have warriors in Australia (south of the equator), maybe one of them could in their spare time, on a clear night, Please take a photo of the Little Dipper constellation from Australia-- if it can be photographed from down below the equator, then that would convince me that the Earth is not a globe. Globe-Earth people say that the North Star cannot be seen south of the equator.
Flat-Earth people say Polaris can be seen from everywhere.
If they have a Smart Phone, there is an app called "Sky Guide" that can help find stars and constellations. Thanks so much!
