Yea, I should have spit it out. I literally just stopped rolling to film it. I'll keep that in mind when I film stuff in the future.

Nice. I've never done that calf slicer before, though I've seen it taught a few times. I need to work it in.

Why grab the underhook on the opposite leg instead of grabbing the waist? I've never tried it, so I'm curious to hear your reasoning.

I speak mouthpiece, so i understood you fine.. . Personally how i like to finish that is gable around the same leg you slicing.. The waist is my second option to grab. Honestly never finished one grabbing the other leg.

A lot of guys, including myself, will stomp the heel on the foot you are trying to crush. If I grabb around the waist I am not controlling your ability to stomp. Also, I want to be able to sweep and pass if things go sour. Controlling the waist offers less control over all.

41:53 here. watch the way rafa controls. cobrinhas legs are made of rubber, but rafa uses the underhook to control.

Just watch over and over and get someone to let you rep it on them. You're always good enough, just need more practice. :-)
